electric muscle thing

first off i dont know what these things are called but they are those electric pad things for muscle stimulation and weight loss , this one is a body tone deluxe ? means nothing to me oh bought it aout a year ago used once irritating consigned to cuboard ever since

anyhoo ,

after a 80 mile ride yesterday in heat my legs were truly numbed , i had that penguin walk thing happening

oh suggested i dig out the thing of pain and irritation as it has a massage setting so off i go get myself hooked up plugged in etc and WOW why hasnt anyone mentioned this before to me

,

after fiddling with pads and settings i discovered what can only be described as uber relaxation ,

one pad top thigh one bottom thigh one calf on each leg and it was like the best massage ever im going to use this more often and its battery powered so might be tempted to take it along on long rides (ok maybe not )

They are called tens machines but you do need to be careful with them and follow instructions, there have been reports of some people wth certain conditions having problems with them, so go easy they are not toys

I had a tens machine given to me by the hospital for spinal damage, I had it on for 12 hours plus when I took it off I had two burn marks were the electro pads had been, couldn't feel it burning in to my back, but did it hurt when I took it off

I use on regular on my shoulder. TBH they are peanuts from a certain chemist shop. I was bought the basic 2 pad one, but it works. Certainly helps.

Don't you mean Slendertone? Tens machine is all about reducing pain through electrical signals, whereas the Slendertone gets your muscles to contract.
