Editing old posts

Shaun - have you put a time limit on how long after a post was made that it can be edited?

If so, it prevents threads such as the Metric Century A Month Challenge from working properly! We go back and edit a single post each time we do a ride. I just went back to enter my March ride and found that I can't do it.

Yes, there's a time limit. It's there for a technical reason and will be removed once the required feature is added to XF.

Anyone who needs to edit an older post/thread - just PM me with the details and I'll enable it for you.

Thanks. Shaun told me in the past that the quickest way to do it is to flag the post in question and explain what is wanted in the comments box.

It will do as a work-around but it would be good to be able to edit my old posts when and where I like without having to bother you guys!
