Having trouble loading a course onto edge 520 plus, i drag it onto new files from pc but when i reboot it does not load ?

What format has the course been created in? I've got the Touring and 820 and always create .gpx files in the PC for transfer to the Garmin.

Sorted it eventually, it seems the unit takes an age to auto shutdown after you disconnect then reboot,
If you do a forced shutdown it loses the transfer.
If you do a forced shutdown it loses the transfer.

Well thread update
sold it as i thought the screen was a bit small and mrs ck needed glasses and my edge touring plus is getting and error every time it loads a course it gets a navigation error and loses all turn by turn directions
wish i had kept it now
