My Peugeot Perthus Pro is up for auction on EBAY at the mo if anybody is interested. Frame is all original with just a couple of very minor surface scuffs to the paintwork, otherwise pretty mint and as god intended. Full period Campag Group Set and levers. Period Weinmann dished rims on Shimano sealed hubs with stainless spokes, tyres a little perished but will throw in a couple of replacements. Rim size is 700c x 20. Breaks are all Weinmann Carrera. Miss it at your peril if you love 753r tubing. Listing ends on Friday 24th July at 8:00 pm.

Cheers

Hi Jason.
Just to let you know of a cheaper way to post a bicycle. There's a company called myHermes (myhermes.co.uk I think) and I've used them a few times. They collect your box from wherever you specify and, of course, deliver it wherever.
What I do is send the bike in two seperate boxes... boy oh boy is that far easier than struggling to arrange the whole thing in one box, with the wheels bulging the whole box at the sides, and fitting enough padding to prevent scratching against each other.
So wheels and certain bits in one box, and the frame 'assembly' in another - what a doddle to pack. And the total cost? £16. ...£8 per box. I've used them a few times now, and am pleased with this value. Takes longer then other couriers but I wouldn't expect a quick turnaround for that money. Five days maybe.
Cheers. Happy Cycling.
