I done my first 10,000ft 110 mile sportive on Saturday in the most extreme wind and rain I've ever ridden in

Ever since all I want to do is eat, I've eaten so much it's unreal I'm hungry all the time, I eat until I'm totally stuffed and then half hour after I'm hungry again, I've been more thirsty than usual but it's the hunger I've stripped the cupboards bare

Anyone else experienced this after a particularly long and tough ride

............got to go I'm hungry

Listen to your body. Eat slow energy realeasing foods little and often you will be fine  ure lucky you get that way. I started a new job and I'm lucky to get out once a week

And well done on the ride mate :hungry:

Nice effort on the ride, @Jason.T ! Which sportive was it, by the way. Even though work and life in general doesn't allow me to just up and go to the UK, I'm still interested in what sportives are being run over there. Unless my assumption is wrong, and you're not in the UK, in which case feel free to correct me.

It was the tour of pembrokshire @victor in west wales, extremely tough ride especially with the weather we had, speaking to some hardened seasoned cyclists and they said with the weather against us it would probably be the toughest ride I'll ever do

Not commute by bike or is it too far for that?
No it's not to far ten miles each way. No showers at work though. I may now and again but need to check I can store my pride and joy in the building can't have her getting cold waiting on me for 12 hours. Funny thing is if I leave at the same time I normally do to get the bus I should make it to St. Andrews before the bus

Aslong as you are not bombing it you shouldn't arrive too sweaty, I don't do it myself but I've heard baby wipes do the trick! Means you can still get rides in and you will get to work feeling better than you would getting the bus and it's free ;)

Even though they build us a new secure, covered bike parking outside, I recently saw a bike ( a Spesh, looks expensive) in the disposables store, near the kitchen. No doubt it belongs to one of the chefs.
Where there is a will there is a way
