I'm going to bodge and tie five together and see how they work in the rain!

Are they a tubular shape of torch? If so you can probably hold one on the handlebars using a rubber band (over front end of the torch, under the bars, put the other end over the back of the torch). Stick it inside a small clear plastic bag for water proofing.
