Ear muffs

Right so i've started cycling to work again but my ears are getting really cold on the ride in.
I don't want to wear my hat so was thinking ear muffs or something similar
Any suggestions?

+1 for the buff, or pedal faster to keep warm

I use a cycling plus free buff cut in two for use as a sweat band now , i did not think it was cold even at 6 am .
