Dynamo Wiring

Has anyone ever tried to hide the wire from a dyno hub inside the fork blade? If I used the drain holes and then glued them shut would that be a problem?

This is purely from an aesthetic point of view. It's a steel fork if it makes any difference.

The drainage holes on my frames are too small for a start. You could make it work if you really wanted to but I wouldn't consider it worth the hassle.
