Dura ace components

I have a new FC7900 chainset and mechs coming but it states I have to use the cn7900 chain, is this a load of ballcocks or do I have to use this specific chain.....I havent looked into this much but if I do have to use a special chain by Shimano then it would be the Yumeya like the one I had for my XTR gears on the MTB as it was a fantastic chain...........yes the chain made a difference with XTR, the shifting was so precise and crisp, but will it make a difference on the road

I use Shimano chains on my Dura Ace as I did not on one of my bikes in the past and cassette wear appeared to increase compared to my other bikes.

So its worth getting one then and not just hype, would a Yumeya do as its 10 speed and made by shimano......I have a new one here doing nowt or do I have to go for the FC

No idea to be honest fella, your guess is as good if not better than mine.

I'll only use KMC X chains on my bikes, including my best bike that is full DA, go figure.

I expect that it's one of those imperceptible improvements that might make the difference in a photo finish at the end of a 150 mile race.

I use KMC on my Dura Ace 7900. Got me from one end of the country to the other with no issues
