Somehow moisture has gotten into my Holux GPS. It still works okay but I can't properly see the screen because of a very fine layer of condensation.

I have tried leaving it on a sunny windowsill with the wee usb connection cap open but the moisture persists.

Any ideas?

Warm radiator for a few and a couple of packing packs of silica gel pack. Worked for my old phone.

Because you cook your rice very slowly?

You need a bit more water to cook it properly than you'll find in the condensation lurking in your GPS unit ;)

This happened to my Garmin unit after some rain. I managed to dry it out but after some torrential rain too much water got in and the unit packed up.

If possible can you send off to Holux, because if it's happened it will happen again.

Dropped my (new) phone in the river, took about twenty minutes to recover it.Stood it upright to let the water drain, switched it on & it worked:thumbsup:Put it on charged & it cooked itself, lost a couple of hundred business Nos:cursing:
Look on internet & it clearly says to dry out for a couple of days before turning on:laugh:

It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of warranty but the UL Holux distributors are lovely folk so I might consult them.
