Does anyone know of a large'ish dry bag that could house my tent (small 1 man Vango), a thermarest and sleeping bag?

Would definetely tidy things up abit if I could fit these things in and stick the bag on my rack...

Cheers

The problem with putting everything in the same dry bag is that everything will be permanently damp. Your tent will be wet most mornings through either rain or condensation and will not have a chance to dry off, and anything in contact with it will also be damp.

Ortleib make various sizes of dry bag. Cheaper ones available if you just Google. I use a dry bag rucksack for commuting from Alpkit - Gourdon 20. Might be a good option for you - proper dry bag, but also a proper rucksack should you need to carry stuff off the bike.

As for the dampness issue - easily solved by only putting the tent in the dry bag if its dry. If its damp then strap it outside.

The other option is a couple of smaller bags and separate the wet and dry sections.

Bin bag/rubble sack on rear rack - this has worked well for me on numerous multiweek tours.

Agreed, wet sleeping bags are the worst thing. After a long day in the saddle, you want your bed to be warm and dry, not cold and wet.

Or you could simply get a large pole and attach the tent to the pole. Dry tent and visbilty aid in the same package!

Aldi and Lidl do dry bags when they do sailing stuff.
