Dropout Spacing

Hi all, just a question as I am looking to get some wheels put together for my Carrera Gryphon. I know the spacing of the rear dropout is 135mm, tha same as a mountain bike but what about the front, do road forks have a narrower spacing than mountain bike forks meaning that I would need a road hub for the front?

On a standard QR hub there is no difference.

Thanks for the quick reply, I can now buy a pair of 36 hole Shimano Deore disc hubs I've found cheap ready for the rims!
