A few years ago, on the A50 Darby bypass. The left-hand lane filtered off to a junction, two lanes carried on on the main carriageway. I was in my truck. As I was going straight on I pulled out into the central lane behind a car. The car started to drift, first right into the right-hand lane, then back into the filter lane. Then straightened up but started to slow. I thought it was breaking down, so I pulled into the right-hand land to pass it. Being high up I could see into the car. The lady driver had a phone in her right hand held to her ear. On the central console she had a folder, her left hand was leafing through the pages.
