Hi All
I've done a couple of 60 mile rides - the last in a time of 4 hrs 15 mins (didn't stop the watch for stops). So what comes next?
I live in Bournemouth and want to do more.

Can anyone recommend organised cycles reasonably close to me?

What should I do next - is a sportive on the cards or will I just annoy everyone with my lack of knowledge?

Am open to suggestions!

What about joining Bournemouth CTC? http://www.bournemouthctc.org/

There's also the Bournemouth Square Audax ride on September 19th http://www.wessexctc.org/bsdetail.htm it's 200km (no idea what the terrain is like), which I'm hoping to ride.

Hi RuthieB..

I have been trying to join the Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers forum for a couple of weeks, but it looks like it might not be very active...

They have regular ride outs from Kinson and also TT events every week during the summer.

I am a beginner similar level to you and did a Sportive and enjoyed it,so if you fancy doing one dont be put off. There will be plenty of other beginners riding .

If you could travel as far as Lymington this Audax type ride in October is organized by Bournemouth CTC and looks interesting Grid Iron
