As Andrew Marr found out to his cost

Marr explained he had fallen into the "terrible" trap of believing what he read in newspapers, which encouraged people to "take very intensive exercise in short bursts - and that's the way to health".
He went on: "I went onto a rowing machine and gave it everything I had, and had a strange feeling afterwards - a blinding headache, and flashes of light - served out the family meal, went to bed, woke up the next morning lying on the floor unable to move.
"Beware rowing machines, or at least beware being too enthusiastic on rowing machines would be my message to the nation," he said.

I'm happy to learn from his mistakes, but quite sad that he had to learn them in the first place

I guess you meant dont believe everything you read in the papers.

I believe very little I read in the papers . In particular I never take any notice of the latest health ,nutrition or fitness fads. Almost cost Andrew Marr his life.

It seems that being alive gives you cancer these days. Sod the diet stuff and do what I like. Altho I love booze, I only get pissed once a week but I do exercise when ever I get the chance. Sometimes I do go flat out so I hope I dont have a heart attack or somethin.
