It's Fred Williams in Wolverhampton who are the Terry Dolan men nearest to me.
Give them a phone.

Pre cursa is a junior frame
Top tube is a bit shorter and the angles are a bit more relaxed but if you want to use it on the road then it may work out a better option

I'm puzzled - what do you mean, 'a junior frame' ?

Dolan's website http://www.bikes-dolan.uk.com/ says
A junior sized track frame with professional credentials. We use identical materials and construction to the Team Replica with 700c wheels for serviceability.
- yet it comes in sizes from 45 to 60

How many juniors will fit a 60cm frame ?

How, other than being smaller (which this one isn't !), is a bike 'junior sized' ?

Perhaps it doesn't really mean 'junior sized', perhaps it means 'beginner-friendly' ?

Or maybe it did just initially come in small sizes and now they make bigger ones but just haven't updated their sales blurb ?

I can see, comparing the Pre Cursa (which presumably is a play on 'precursor') & Track Champion geometries that it has longer TT and slacker angles, so presumably it'll be a bit more 'road-bike-like', less of a twitchy out&out track racer.

Mcr velodrome has a hire fleet of Dolans, which I assume to be Pre Cursa's - you'd want the bikes which track novices would turn up to ride at Taster sessions to be a bit more forgiving ?

They're for juniors. ie non-adults. I see plenty of 16 year-olds that are >6ft. the geometry is, I guess, more suited to riders that are still learning. you can't go too forgiving though
