My poor old doggie has been vomiting during the night

Thank chuff for laminate flooring!!!!

I have been awake since 2.30 a.m. and my eyes now look like pissholes in the snow.

Hopefully she will get better today and lots of TLC.

I had a dog that had the runs on a coir rug.

We figured that we would never get all the 'bits' out so we rolled up the rug and left it outside with the rubbish. Someone then took it!

I would have tried to wangle the day off but the management here are not exactly sympathetic.

It's the best thing for a compost heap, that's why.

That's the best bit! Probably best not to use the compost on food crops to be eaten raw, though.

before we got a septic tank, we used to put our own poo on the garden, after composting it for 6 months it doesn't smell anymore.

It's not the smell that matters it's the transmissable diseases. You'd want to be sure the composting had been at a suitably high temperature and as beardie says, watch out for crops likely to be eaten without thorough cooking...

The vomit has stopped, she is drinking and had a bit of scram.

Tom-tits lovely and firm to be picked up.
