Does toothpaste go off?

I am moving offices and have found a tube of toothpaste at the bottom of my drawer of miscellaneous stuff that I keep "just in case (but then forget it's there and go out and buy it anyway)".

I can't promise that there won't be more threads along similar lines to this and the vodka thread...

I always think the stuff that I use in at my parents house has gone off. I have a bathroom to myself and given I only visit about every 3 months the toothpaste lasts a looooooooooooooooooooooong time
