Does anyone make arm warmers for skinny arms?

I recently got some cheapo Revolution arm warmers and when they stay up, they're very useful, but they're really far too big for my (very) skinny arms. The call their smaller size a medium, and to give you an idea of the problem their 'large' arm warmers fit me nicely as leg warmers.;)

I'm considering modifying them with extra elastic or something, but does anyone make small arm warmers that would save me the trouble? My upper arm is around 8-10cm diameter.*

I often have the same problem, small size arm warmers are often too large for my weedy arms (I could do a few chin-ups each morning I guess).

I've got some small Endura arm warmers- best fit I ever found for me. Can't remember where I got them or what they were called tho'.

Wiggle are worth a look, as they helpfully give the dimensions of most of the arm warmers they sell. As I recall, the DeFeet ones are long and thin-ish, as are (either) the dhb or focus ones.

Personally, I found the Cyclechat ones (Endura) ok in medium (good grippers at the top) and Pearl Izumi's seamless (medium, I think) pretty good too.

The Defeet or Prendas ones look possible but I'm reluctant to part with more shekels before establishing that they're likely to fit someone with my spaghetti arms. Is there anyone with arms that are actually as skinny as mine who's tried them?

Buy at a shop and try them first? (easier said than done- my LBS doesn't stock much roadie kit and never arm/leg warmers)

I weigh under 9 stone (5ft 9) and have tiny arms, the prendas ones fit perfectly
I'd tried the DHB ones before and they wouldn't even stay up!

I do try and buy clothing from the various LBSs but understandably brands like Prendas and Defeet are not stocked.

That sounds encouraging, I might try them. I'm 5'9" and about 8 stone so they might well work.

When I pitched Baseball, the other hard throwers and I used Tubegauze over a smear of Ralgex stick on our throwing arm.

Brit summers are not as hot as Californian summers; and this kept our arms warm between fielding while the batters were doing their thing.

I have since used Tubegauze when riding my bike, especially on cold mornings at the start of 200 and 300 randos. The stuff is so cheap, it can be thrown in a bin when its no longer needed.

Who gives a toss what colour it is. Its there to do a job - keep my arms warm.

A double layer does the trick.

I think I might be too much of a tart for that.

I got the small Prendas warmers today. I haven't given them a proper trial run yet but first impressions are that they are a much better fit than the Revolution ones.

Cheers,
Matthew
