Do you love or loathe snow?

Hate the stuff. This year it's cost lives in the UK and on a personal level totally messed up my schedule, so many things have had to be cancelled, I'm snowed in and going stir crazy.

So far lost a day and a half of work. But it’s such a rare occurrence I can’t help but like it. The kids are super-animated too.

I had to dig the chickens out this morning. They were extra pleased to get out. Much shovelling later, some food and a drink of warm water and they reciprocated with three fresh eggs. Cleared my path to the front door and the pavement outside my house. And the same for my elderly neighbours either side.

Sounds like I should do an FTP test later to properly right myself off.

Love snow about 3 pm on Christmas Eve then let it stay around for a bit on the following day. Then it can go feck off.

It costs lives because people behave like fools, and most are unprepared.

I'm am prepared, trained and equipped, so the snow matters not a jot to me. Therefore, I am able to enjoy it.
