Just got my Kuota Kharma through cycle to work scheme (can't fault the service by the way application to voucher under a week). Problem is I told my wife that it will only cost about £600 and she thinks i will only pay half of that. Do I confess or just pedal off into the sunset. Bye the way thanks to all the advice I got over the past few weeks, I am now an official roadie

No. Never ever ever tell the missus. Didn't you go to getting married school?

nothing on a bike costs more that £20!! and bikes are pretty cheap, look at the price discount stores charge. That's my excuse to the wife anyway.she can't tell the groupsets apart-thank goodness!

I'm honest with mine but we both have separate incomes and I don't bat an eyelid if she spend £100+ on hair or a japanese saw or something.

I had to google that - is she a carpenter ! If my wife bought a japanese saw I would be sleeping with one eye open:laugh:

Care needed here I would expect it to show up on your pay statements.

I bought a cheap bike to get me going until the firm I work for does the scheme.Patiently window shopping at the moment.

So, you've told her the truth...

If she's jumped to conclusions that aren't supported by the information you've provided then that's her own fault (and perhaps she might enjoy a career as a manager in the Civil Service?).

I was going to say confess all, but then I googled Kuota Kharma, and on second thoughts you had better stay quiet. Nice bike....

The Dolan? If she wants it out of the house, I'll take it off your hands for £100 - it is second hand after all

Off the hook I think ! she told me last night she is buying new running shoes £150, ridiculous amount
Nothing wrong with that...as long as she is a serious runner. I would be happy with that as long as I could buy bike stuff.
