I think I may have offended mine and in a fit of spite it decided to have 2 P******** in as many miles:angry:. Yestertday for the first time I took the panniers off and tied the bare essentials to the rack in a trainers bag.Strong wind prompted this rash decision and the bike obviously felt upset at being so naked:biggrin:.

Still an enjoyable ride around the Paths near Llanelli and Buryport with Mike Rudkin .Hard work into the wind even withought the luggage.

Second was a real blow out on the back, went off with a loud bang completely irrepairable And I had allready used my spare tube on the front.Mike lent me a 26 inch fat MTB tube which we managed to stuff into my 700c tyre after a fashion and got me back to the car.

Nice easy riding so not the hardest ride but about 24 miles so the furthest I have ever done.

yes they do, my road bike has kicked me in the nuts a couple of times for taking her over the field when it was wet,

she quite likes it when its dry tho.

Definitely! My 14 year old Mean Street has looked really down in the dumps since I told her that I'm getting a new model soon. ;)

Yes they do. My Highway One was a flighty cow and ran off with another bloke.
My Bolinas Ridge followed her. He wasn't a very bright bike, and would have jumped off a cliff if she'd asked him. We both loved her.

The bright orange beastie which replaces him is a steadfast little bugg3r, and her as yet nameless reincarnation is similarly fickle.
