Its Friday so it must be disco nite. They are celebrating the disco genre on BBC Four tonight. My own favourite disco classics are Rock the Boat by the Hues Corporaation, The Hustle by Van McCoy, Boogie Nights by Heatwave and various others by the likes of Kool and the Gang, Shalamar, Earth Wind and Fire, The Bee Gees and many others. I was a child of the 70s disco reigned supreme untill it got over done. So what are your favourite disco classics?

Daddy Cool for Bobby Farrell's dancing and for the one lady's afro that looks like she's slept on it rather awkwardly.
Or, it's been cleaved asunder.

My taste in music is probably best described as appalling, so this is the definately thread for me. We like to dress like this lot every friday night in our house.

another forgotten gem... from the 1980... when pop stars ate pasties!

... i think this was written by the bloke out of Mungo Jerry... and he intended it to be sung by none other than Elvis Presley, but he died.

I love to see an Elvis impersonator do it in full on Elvis style with a proper Elvis style backing track... anybody know any Elvis impersonators?
