Hi,

My bike currently have normal brakes on and i was wondering if its possible to fit disc brakes on instead? Does this depend on the frame etc or will disc brakes pretty much fit any bike?

If so any recommendations on which discs to buy? can i keep my original brake levers or will I need new ones of those also?

Don't suppose there are any really cheap disc brakes sets are there? I looked on ebay and got very confused. lol

Firstly, I believe the bike named in your heading did come with mechanical disc brakes, so I am bemused.
Things to consider when up grading to disc brakes are, has the frame got the caliper fittings on the frame. You will need to up grade the wheels to those able to fit rotors. Normal brake levers should be OK for basic cable operated disc brakes but hydraulic discs need compatible levers.
The cost involved with these issues alone would make it a non starter and to be frank, a bike of this quality would gain little.
A cheap set option will still cost more than its worth and a good quality set would be wasted on this bike.
This style and quality of bike is not designed to be ridden in conditions that would benefit from disc brakes.
Up grade to a good V brake or put the money towards a bike more suited to your needs.
