the noise from my disc brakes is crazy loud.

Bled the brakes a couple of weeks ag so guessing I got some mineral oil on the pads, so bought new pads (clarks) and also cleaned the pad holders and rotors with disc brake cleaner (a few times now) the noise stops for an hour at most then comes back again, worse than ever.

My bike seems to be a money pit at the minutes so don't want to change the rotors and pads if I don't have to, anyone suggest a fix.? Does sanding the rotors work?
Or should a try the correct shamino pads, had the bike for coming up to 10 years now and never had a pad issue before, this one is making up for it though!

The last time I contaminated the pads I took the wheel out, removed the rotor and cleaned it well with disc brake cleaner. You can tell its clean when the kitchen roll stays clean. Removed the old pads and cleaned the calliper completely , used a little disc brakes cleaner and then washed it off with soapy water again. Checked for leaks and then dried and fitted new pads. It has been fine ever since.

Thanks all, read the thread linked above.

Think I'll treat myself to new rotors as they are old and look like the glazed ones in the thread mentioned.
As the poster in that thread, never been really happy with the preformance, so I'll start from the beginning again.

edit-ordered new rotors and pads, think I'll stick to Shimano for both.

Having tried others I've gone back to oem shimano pads.
