My BB is forever getting dirty to the point where hard pedalling makes my bike sound like its gears need adjusting. To be more precise its dirt on the surfaces between the crank and the BB. I never had to clean it this much on other road bikes so is it possible im missing something? Its no wonder my 1st one was shot within 1300 miles of buying a new bike.

Not that particular one. Crap seems to build up quickly between the black donut shaped thing and the crank.
