Difference between disc pads ?

Getting some spare pads in for my SRAM Force Hydraulic pads for the gravel bike.

These are a straight swap but why three variants ?

I've only ever had the original set - what so they come with ? I'll probably just replace like for like unless there's a good reason not to.

Do check that your rotors can take sintered - some can't - it usually says 'resin pads only' if they can't.

I can never remember what sintered or resin means (in practical terms like noisiness) so whenever o need to order new pads, I have to keep researching from scratch. I got sick of that one day and just ordered a whole bunch of pads in one go.

I like quiet brakes so iirc I roll with Shimano stuff.

Apparently 4000 miles is a bit too much for one set of pads.
Will check more often in future !

Looks like you just caught them in time 😊. You can easily wear a set of resin pads out in a short space of time in wet and muddy conditions. I always carry a spare set in my tool kit
