On the news this morning, Peter Mandelson arriving for a typical meeting somewhere, he got out of the back of the Jag and was approached by a young lady apparently offering a cup of coffee to him..............she then let him have a cup of bright green goo in the face!!

Apart from the fact that it amused me, it does raise some serious security concerns for him as the girl just mooched off............no-one apprehended her ..

It was a beut though!!

My immediate thoughts were that she'd be held under some anti-terror legislation. It surprised me to see her apparently walk off freely.

Mandelson has been on the radio, and, in a very charming way, turned the thing around. He has dispensed with the usual level of security that is given to former Northern Ireland ministers, and he put the custard thing down to high spirits. He even joked with reporters about mushy peas and guacamole, and how you couldn't tell the two apart in certain northern chip shops.

And the police let her go because he wasn't interested in pressing charges. So, all in all, this looks like an own goal by Plane Stupid, who should, perhaps, wonder whether dressing up as golfers or throwing green slime around is a clever way of campaigning against the third runway.
