Diadora Team Racer Magnum Cycling Shoes

Hi all

I have been a bit of a lurker here until now.

I have been offered new Diadora Team Racer Magnum Cycling shoes for £40 having come second in an e bay auction.

Ultimately I plan to tour 900 miles in 10 days.

Does anyone have knowledge of these particular shoes or advice to offer on better alternatives for touring.

Suggestions for appropriate SPD pedals would also be apreciated

I have some cheaper Diadora's which are well made if prone to a few hotspots.

I'd check that these shoes accept the spd system (they are fine for spd-sl).

Personally if I was going to cycle 900 miles in 10 days I would'nt be guessing by getting a pair off eBay but would go and try on various alternatives - especially as my pair are spot on with the measurement but the seller is telling you to go one size larger..
