Does anyone have either of these? I need to buy a new jacket as I've come off my bike and shredded the arm of my trusty altura when keeping the bike off the deck as I slid.

I know dhb is good gear but I'm unsure which to choose as the Cosmo has a better breathability rating, but the EQ2.5 is a slightly more relaxed fit

I have the cosmo and for the money I can't fault it at all.

I bought a Cosmo and in my opinion it was one of the worst jackets I have ever had. I sent it back to Wiggle for a refund. They are a funny fit, the rear doesn't cover your lower back properly and it was just boil in the bag jobbie. Rubbish.
Shame as it did look good and DHB gear is usually top notch.

EQ 2.5. Very happy with it. Mine's somewhat faded from being on the back of chairs in the sun & has a couple of teeny holes in the back pocket, but I'll wear it out before using its replacement. Another 2.5........

There are 600+ reviews of the EQ on Wiggle, maybe look at a the most recent of those? And a couple of dozen of the latest Cosmo

Or if happy with the trashed Altura why not get another of those?

I'm about to retire my EQ2.5 after 7 years great service. A fantastic jacket, comfortable, great fit (not flappy, not constrictive), waterproofing is top notch and good ventilation. A couple internal pockets are a nice touch. Unsurprisingly the velcro cuffs have become less sticky. Couldnt really ask for more at that price. I'm 6'1" 85kg and wore L. This over the cosmo IMO.
