Anyone on here riding any of the Decathlon Rockrider range of full suspension MTB's? I quite fancy dipping a toe into FS and they seem reasonably well specced for the money..

I had a good nosey at one today. X9 rear mech etc. For £1k they are good. Mavic Cross Ride wheels are decent.

I think they look good ,but my jury is still out on buying anything from retail parks.
I have had a shufty at the quality of the welds and paint jobs, and it's pretty questionable .

I have a Rockrider full suss that must be about 7 or 8 years old now. I mainly ride back roads and cycle paths, so i am not in the "ride it like you stole it" style of riding, but the bike has never given me any trouble. Original rear shock and front forks are not leaking. Frame (aluminium) is 100% sound. All i have changed are the pedals (for dmr v8s) and the saddle.
Well worth the £350 or so that it cost brand new.

Thinking about it, the one component failure was the original chain, which after several years had one link break and quite a few beginning to crack.

I think their bikes are good value, compared to other makes at the same price point.
