Dead Legs

Yesterday, my legs felt utterly dead as soon as I set off, but ironically, I set my 3rd quickest time ever.

and once warmed up, they felt fine, strange ?

Your much more experienced than me - but this mornings ride was to tackle a hill ive been struggling with - and asked advice about yesterday on the forum - [you may know it as your local, denton / haughton green heading to Bredbury up to the bread factory on stockport road) - anyway, on the way toward it I nearly bottled out cos I didn't feel strong at all... but got up it better than i've ever done previously. Maybe its a local phennom, phenommon, maybe its a local thingy.

I get that from time to time and also the opposite (ie feel great and crash and burn soon after). No idea why though.

I work just the other side coming towards Bredbury, thankfully I come in from the Stockport side

That hill is ALWAYS fun in the mornings

My legs again today, felt weak but my average was high, ahhh well, never mind

Haughton Green to Bredbury - know it well. The drag back is worse !

I had bad legs Sunday, until I hit Chunal, and was fine after that !

actually, a good shout that . had a head wind every day of pretty strong intensity (sometimes in the morning, sometimes at night)

The wind this year has been pretty bad, or is it normally like this ? See Im not sure, as for 27 years, I was too fat t leave the house in summer due to the amount i'd sweat !

Haughton Green to Bredbury - know it well. The drag back is worse !

Is it wrong, that I now love the climb from Stockport to Hyde, Via Bredbury, Woodley & Up over Wernth Low ?
