Vicky has set off well in the qualifying round coming in first and the men are also first in the Pursuit qualifying, it bodes well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because they took away the 500m and the keirin....plus the mens 1KM to make room for BMX.

Edit...plus the womens team sprint...if that was ever an Olympic event....so tthe women only have 3 events, sprint, pursuit and points race. while the men have 7!!

That seems really unfair when you consider how many swimming races there are, if you have the venue you may as well use it.

I would like Wendy to get a gold. She's a thoroughly nice woman as well as an awsome cyclist

At time trials, she mixes in and is quite happy to chat and cheer along others. Genuinely a nice person. Whilst silver will be awesome, gold would be wonderful, but seems it won't be?

There seems to be no end of swimming events (I'll check later) but the cycling events are limited!

I'm sure there's a world-wide chav conspiracy against cyclist!
