I know this has already been mentioned in another thread, but here are the full details for Charity Adventure's Dawn till Dusk if anybody fancies taking part - I'd love to do it but transport problems are getting in the way as usual.... ;)

"We're organising the Dawn till Dusk Challenge 100 which is an event starting and finishing in Leeds on Sunday August 30th (bank holiday weekend).

In teams of 2-4 (£100 per team) you can choose to either cycle the 100 mile or 100 km scenic all-road route. All types of cyclists are welcome, and on all types of bikes, whether it be road bike, mtb, recumbant, tandem or retro. Some teams are even taking part in fancy dress!

Afterwards, we're hosting a bbq, disco and bar at the Yarnbury Rugby Club in Horsforth (north of Leeds) where one of the teams taking part will get to choose a charity for the entire proceeds of the day to be donated (basically all of the entry fees are given to charity).

The routes and further information are available on the d2d website at http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://dawntillduskchallenge100.org.uk where you can also sign your team up online.

We're also organising some 'family-based' activities at the rugby club to keep the kids entertained (a parent/guardian will still need to be present) and will have bouncy castles, refreshments available throughout the day.

Camping is available both the night before and night of the event free of charge (you need to bring your own camping gear) and you'll be able to lock your bikes up inside the club overnight if required.

This is being organised and run by CharityAdventure.org.uk, a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. We recently ran one of the CTC York Cycle Show family day rides.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Otherwise, we hope to see you there "

Hiya.

Wendy (from the Amsterdame09 event) lives over your way. Why don't you get in touch and see if she's up for joining your team? I'm sure she'd be more than happy to come along providing of course she's not already booked for that weekend

Hmmm, can't see wendy having a bike carrier for 3 bikes, but I suppose it is worth a try...Good thinking Mr Rideguide!!!!

Although I just realised I might be working, maybe it might be an idea to double-check that first!
