Dawes Super Galaxy Head set bearings

Can someone help me.

I have noise and some movement coming from the head set of my Super Gaxaxy (think it is 2005/6).

I have stripped down, re-greased and tightened up but still not right. I am assuming I will need to at least replace the bearings and possibly replace the headset.

Can anyone tell me what make/size replacement bearings I will need and if that doesn't solve the problem, what are the possible replacement headsets I can use.

Obviously, any other hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the spec of your bike is but if it looks like this then you have a standard threadless aheadset. However it is impossible to tell by looking at it whether it is 1" JIS, 1" Professional or 1-1/8". You probably should ask Dawes by providing them with your frame number. This is a good diy guide.
