For Sale Dawes Galaxy Tour
Not sure how old this is but guessing mid late 80's to early 90's in good condition finished in a pearlescent sort of British Racing Green colour with matching decals .
No reynolds label or sign of previous owner of frame said it was 531 so thats what i am saying as well . its a 23 1/4 " or 59 cm sized frame from centre of crank to centre of seat pinch bolt and aprox 22 1/2" or 57 cm along the top tube .
As stated frameset was purchased a while back and then built up aprox 200 miles ago with the following bits, Shimano Claris double crankset covered less than 300 miles from new , Claris rear mech same miles , fr mech is an unknown shimano band on unit with shims , all operated with a set of n.o.s Shimano 8 speed sis bar end levers , chain and cassette are all aprox 300 miles old . Brakes are operated with a set unbranded aero levers and shimano canti levers with kool stop pads .
Wheels are 300 mile old Shimano r500 units with same mileage Schwalbe Lugano's 700 x 25 c tyres . New sks guards fr & rr , 75 mm stem fitted on A head type quill stem converter .
Will be supplied with a nice clean Brooks b17 leather saddle and either a set of std pedals or a pr of look clip in units .
