As the site went down & been busy at work I've missed out. Somebody somewhere will not be able to make it down the line. It's just finding that person in time.

As well as canvasing for a place in the 2014 Dartmoor Classic, you can register your e-mail contact on the event's current reserve list. When a place becomes available - through cancellation - the first on the list is offered the place. If this is not accepted, within 48 hours, the place is offered to the next on the list. There is no charge for registering as a reserve; payment is only made when entry is completed. Nearly all of the 300 on the 2013 list ultimately got a ride in the event, so it's well worth registering now. Registration now also helps the Mid-Devon Cycling Club get a better idea of what the true demand for places is, which will help with any plans for the Dartmoor Classic's future growth..

Smart move Milzy, the reserve list appears to be an attractive proposition, with plenty of riders - who didn't make the entry cut - now preared to wait their turn for a possible place. Thanks to all who have joined the list so far; keep the names coming and - if the final number of reserves is significant - it may give us some leverage with the various authorities to allow more people to take part in 2015.
