It looks like there is some way to go before the record for the new pursuit format starts to stabilise at a more realistic level, since the women are still knocking off multiple seconds at a time!

Insanity Prawn Boy
They did amazingly well .
They were brilliant, but I didn't want to single Dani out for the team's performance. They've brought the women's time within 20 seconds of the men's, but I'm sure the record will fall further as the new format settles. What impressed me though was that she did a couple of hard turns on the front in the pursuit, looked as though she gave it everything, then within minutes she's back out on the track for a 10k race. OK, I know I'm talking from the perspective of an old commuter not a young pro, but fair play to her.
