Hi,

Got a couple of new tyres arriving in the post in the next day or so after my original tyres had an argument with a metal roadsign frame that had fell off a lorry the other day when I was commuting to work one evening last week. ;)

I'm quite embarrassed to ask this but how on earth do you remove the rear wheel?. Can't work out how to do it with the chain running through the rear derailleur. Do you just lift the chain off the cassette?

Bike is a Pinarello FP1 with Tiagra.

Sorry for asking such a daft question.

Drop gears to last but one sprocket (smaller ones), undo quick release - usually on non drive side.

Place finger on rear gear mech and move it backwards, with other hand tap rear wheel and out it will drop.

If you have wide tyres, flip up the little lever where the brake cable is bolted to the calliper !
