strted yesterday after Friday's longish ride (for me) and today even worse !!! that'll teach me - i really should know better - i must STRECH after rides !!!
so easy day in the sun for me today xx but i really want to go out on bike:angry:

Afraid I kind of know how you feel. I am always full of good intentions to stretch more when I get home but I'm always starving so afraid breakfast takes precedence. Then I sit at the computer and seize up. :laugh:

You should maybe try just a very short pootle about spinning an easy gear. Might do more good than complete rest.

I find that a spray of "Better You" magnesium oil sports spray is very effective on tired legs. I never stretch before or after.... Just too lazy!

I've found a nice relaxed ride loosens everything up again when I get a bit of DOMS. Hurts a little for the first five minutes but then I feel much better :smile:

If you are still getting DOMs the day after the day after exercising it could be because your protein intake isn't high enough. Eat more protein! mmmm steak :hyper:
