Cynon Trail (Abercynon to Hirwaun)

Anyone ridden it ? On paper it looks like a great way to avoid the busy heads of Valley rd /A470 route or the busy roads through Aberdare etc.

Wouldnt consider it on the roadbike but for touring on the Hybrid Trek could be a usefull link from Taff Trail to Hirwaun.

from what i have seen it is a bitty slow trail
to be hounes
by the time i get out there i have usually just done the bwlch and rhigos, so i just want to tank it home down through mountain ash

OK cheers Dave. Could be ok for a touring link. Will have to plod up the Taff Trtail on the hybrid and have a look.(Or go over Bwlch and Rhigos).
