cyclocross bgike build

im planning/thinking on building a winter cyclocross bike with this dolen frame

it will be made up of olde parts from the garage and some new parts which will need sourcing
my first 2 questions are. 1. will i be able to fit cyclocross tyres to the stock wheels that came with my giant defy 1 as they have been sat in the garage for a year unused
2. these cx brakes from ribble are they for 1 set or do i need to make an order for 2

The wheels should be fine. Not sure I understand your question about the brakes - the prices for front and rear sets are clearly indicated.

As Dusty says....the brakes are sold individually at £39 each. You will need a pair!

Sorry for jumping on such an old subject here but, did you ever build the bike, and if so, what did you think of Dolan cross frame? The reason I ask is that I am thinking of building one myself using the bits from my current cross bike as it is too big.
