Cyclo Cross in essex

hi all

i like the sound of Cyclo Cross but dont know how to get started, i ride on the road 3 times a week and currently building a very cheap road bike but better tyers.

So all very cheap but jsut want to see if i like it, anyway where and how do i get into it in essex?

The event calendar on the British Cycling website is the place to look, Eastern league has some events in Essex, worth checking the London league events too.
