Cyclist vs skip lorry, Elephant & Castle 16 Jan

Another cyclist/lorry incident in London:

I've never had the misfortune of having to cycle over that roundabout but I know what a nightmare it is.

Fortunately it looks like the cyclist came away relatively unscathed, but as we all know it could have been much worse.

I rode it every day for 2 years back in the 80s ... it was a blast then, but certainly not for the faint-hearted. It needs some serious re-modeling. Glad the cyclist is 'relatively' unscathed

Could have been very nasty but it would seem from the report that the rider suffered minor injurys.

@glenn forger is that a shot from the same incident, if so the lorry seems to have made a relatively hard left turn, over the bent, from the position of the wheels
