A 21-year female cyclist died yesterday as a result of crush injuries received on the 15th of September in the City of London. Condolences to her friends and family http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-24211178
Traffic marshalls do not travel the whole route with the tippers , not even crossrail go that far and they are one of the better construction JVs. The nearest Crossrail site would use Houndsditch as a route out of the city though.I believe this was a lorry leaving a Crossrail site. I work on one of the sites and we were briefed about it last week, should never have happened as Traffic Marshals are always present when vehicles are in use.
RIP
we have to treat each lorry as if its going to kill us,i know we shouldent and that there not.but if we do maybe less of us will die
Nope, that's a fair comment.
I have that attitude myself and I consider myself a very experienced cyclist and cycling commuter.
