But curiously I stopped going that route a couple of weeks back. For my route I deemed a parallel Edendale Terrace semi rat run both more convenient and slightly safer.

friends of david james 35yo,who lost his life cycling to work on the 30th of november after being hit by a bus on durham rd gateshead have organised a respect ride in his memory,the ride begins at newcastle civic centre 10am sunday 15th december and finishs on camborne place gateshead near where the tragedy took place. sky news have a page on this event +links to facebook for more info.
