I am much saddened to have to report that a fellow cyclist died.
He was an elderly gentleman found by a van driver last week (Thursday/Friday?) on the small road between North Dalton and Huggate. It seems it was a medical reason and not a collision-based incident.
I have no other details, and local new agencies seem to have zero details, or have even reported on it...?
I will try to get more info.
