Cyclist down at Wiggle Northern Angel

Hi, anyone have any news on the cyclist who suffered a heart attack yesterday at the Wiggle Northern Angel sportive? He was collapsed in road with about 20 miles to go and other participants administered CPR for about 15 minutes prior to ambulance arrival. It wasn't looking good but I can find no news on the internet.

Thanks Classic33. Thoughts go out to family and friends. The guys that administered CPR for 10 mins must be gutted too.

I'd like to like your last post, but given the circumstances I don't know how it would seem, to others.
All I did was put through google, your description of what happenned to get what I got. With time on my side.

Don't know what those who administered CPR feel like, but at least they were there with him & doing their best to save him. Hope what happenned this time(Hopefully they won't get a next time) doesn't stop them thinking was it worth it.

This is terribly sad.

Those are my local roads and I'd have been on the sportive but for circumstances getting in the way. RIP.
