Haven't seen the c+ review, but i use my nokia n82 to track my rides, very good imo

Beware!

I looked at a couple of these and some charge a subscription and data charges for the information transfer.

Be careful as to what services are free and are chargeable.

I have the mag, got as far as reading the review on the Garmin saw the price and decided I'll be sticking to getting lost maps.

The N82 is pretty bloody good - I use the sports tracker, and have used maps when I've taken a wrong turn.

It's only the live sharing and turn by turn navigation that's chargeable, so you can set it up to not do anything that uses your data allowance up quite easily. The downside, of course, is that as a phone, it's not ruggedised or waterproofed in anyway, although there are after market solutions available for this.

Also beware of the assumptions - they have assumed the SatMap10 has full PDA functionality and plays MP tracks - it doesn't!

Anyone use an iPhone with google maps for navigating? I was playing with one in the Apple shop today. It shows your position directly onto the web page - very cool.
I might wait for the google phone though, more chance of free applications.
