Bit of fun in today's Times:
I often cycle to work along the Regent's Canal towpath. I've been doing this off and on for 17 years. I've always been fine, but once, in about 1998, my mate Richard was pushed in by a gang of lads. Luckily, the water is only five feet deep. Still, poor form.
Where's this heading? Well, by the logic of many commentators, I should wear a wetsuit when cycling along the canal. Maybe a diving mask too. And an aqualung.
